Icelandair will begin offering Europe trip packages to Iceland year round out of Denver, Colorado beginning next spring. The company will offer 4 flights per week out of DIA to Reykjavik, providing a new and affordable option for US travelers to Europe. The nonstop flights from DIA to Reykjavik will operate 4 days per week from the airport's A concourse.

The new service is expected to generate over $28 million in revenues for the state of Colorado, and the transatlantic flights are the first from an new international carrier out of DIA in over a decade. The airport is promoting the new flights with a $1 million marketing campaign which includes operating incentives for Icelandair. The package includes marketing support and full landing fee waivers during the first year, followed by partial landing fee waivers during the second year.
