Sephardic Jews in Spain have been living in the cities of Cordoba and Toledo for the last 1,500 years, following the Roman invasion of Jerusalem. Over 500,000 people come to visit the two remaining synagogues, as well as the churches, convents, monasteries and mosques which abound in this city of significance for several religions.

The Blau Porto Petro Beach Resort & Spa on the Balearic island of Mallorca is another luxury hotel that has cut prices by 54%, with double rooms starting form $203.60 a night including breakfast and dinner through mid-May. The Domes of Elounda on Crete is taking about $400 off all villa accommodation, meaning that a group of four can get a two-bedroom villa, including breakfast, airport transfers and two spa experiences for $722 a night.

For example, the San Fermin festival in Pamplona, from July 6-14, is a classic Spanish festival that attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year.
